The Dr. Famuyide Sponsorship is established in honour of her parents, Professor Edward Famuyide  and Mrs. Aduke Famuyide, whom she described as educationalists. Dr. Famuyide, being a well-renowned paediatrician, centred her scholarship criteria on indigent medical students ranking in the top 25th percentile in paediatrics. She named the scholarship the "Edward and Aduke Famuyide Scholarship."

Dr. Famuyide equally took the time of her visit to meet with the beneficiary scholar of her scholarship. The interaction between Dr. Famuyide and the Edward and Aduke Famuyide scholar was nothing short of inspiring. It was a moment of heartfelt connection and shared aspirations as they discussed the student's academic journey and future goals.

In her speech, Dr. Famuyide expressed her joy in being able to support deserving students in their pursuit of education. It has become a pleasant routine for Dr. Famuyide to meet the beneficiary scholars of her scholarship. Since the previous beneficiary has graduated, she was excited to meet the present beneficiary, Mr. Samuel Ayeni.
