Biography:

Professor Oluwole Oyekunle Dosumu is a distinguished clinical Prosthodontist and academician, specializing majorly on tooth and facial soft tissue loss and the challenges faced in their replacement with removable and fixed appliances and implants. He is widely acknowledged for his substantial contributions to the knowledge of the causes of tooth loss, preventive measures through dental health education; the methods employed in the management of some special cases that are useful to clinicians for successful outcome; enumeration of some challenging factors and how to overcome them in the course of management of these soft tissue & tooth loss and some complications that may occur.

Academic Background: Professor Oluwole Dosumu obtained Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree at the University of Ibadan (BDS, 1982); Fellowships of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (FMCDS, 1992) and West African College of Surgeons (FWACS, 1997); Master of Science in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics from King’s College, University of London (M.Sc., 2011); and awarded Doctor of Medicine by National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (MD, 2020).
