Biography:
Victoria O. OLADOYIN MBBS (Ilorin), MPH (Ib), MScPH (Amsterdam), FWACP (West Afr.)
Dr Victoria Oladoyin is a medical doctor, public health specialist, and university academic. In these multiple roles, she engages in health systems research with focus on improving access to high quality healthcare services by addressing the health systems bottle necks and the broader determinants of health. Specifically, her research interests are in health service delivery, quality of care, quality improvement, as well as healthcare access and utilization.
Her over 20 years work experience spans full-time job roles and short-term consultancy jobs across national (Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital; University of Medical Sciences, Ondo City: University of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital, Ondo City; University College Hospital, Ibadan; Oyo State Ministry of Health; Nigeria Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare; Ondo State Ministry of Health; Ondo State Primary Health Care Development Agency; National Primary Health Care Development Agency) and international (PEPFAR-APIN Plus; WHO; USAID; JHPIEGO) institutions. She is currently a senior lecturer in the Department of Health Policy and Management at University of Ibadan.
She is a recipient of several travel awards, academic awards and research grants including the Orange Knowledge Program Scholarship, The Netherlands; Autism Speaks Travel Award, USA; UNESCO and Merck Travel Award, Ethiopia; and IBR TETFUND Grant.
Dr Victoria O. Oladoyin holds an MBBS degree from the University of Ilorin, an MPH degree from the University of Ibadan, and a MScPH (Health Systems, Policy, and Management Track) from the KIT Royal Tropical Institute/Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam. Dr Oladoyin is also a Fellow of the West African College of Physicians.
