Biography:
Henry Osaro AISAGBONHI BMLS, MPH, PhD
Dr. Henry Osaro Aisagbonhi is a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLSCN & CORU) & Public Health Professional. He has over 15 years of Laboratory experience in diagnostic medicine, quality assurance, and public health research. He holds a BMLS (Ambrose Alli University), an MPH in Public Health, and a Ph.D. in Public Health (University of Central Nicaragua).
He currently lectures in the Department of Health Policy and Management, Faculty of Public Health, College of Medicine, University of Ibadan. His expertise spans Health Policy and Management, Quality Management Systems (QMS), and Patient Safety.
Dr. Aisagbonhi’s professional and research interests include health policy, healthcare quality management system, laboratory accreditation (ISO 15189, WHO, CLSI standards), patient satisfaction, health informatics, and process improvement in clinical laboratories.
He has served in notable leadership roles as Chairman of AMLSN (OOUTH Chapter), YPF State Leader, and Founder of the " Public Health Lectures" education platform on YouTube with over 25,000 views.
Passionate about strengthening health systems, he actively mentors young professionals and advances research bridging Artificial Intelligence, diagnostics, and health policy to enhance healthcare delivery and patient outcomes.
He is a member of the Association of Medical Laboratory Scientist of Nigeria (AMLSN), A fellow of the Nigerian Public Health Network (NPHN). He is a recipient of the Golden Pen Award by AGE- Academic Writing Academy (2025)
