Researches

 

RESEARCH SUPPORT

I have collaborated in the study of Prevalence, culture and efficacy of therapeutic interactions in Helicobacter Pylori infection in Nigeria. A multidisciplinary research grant from MacArthur Foundation, University of Ibadan from 2009 till date.I also participated in study of  Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) type distribution in adult African women diagnosed with invasive cervical  cancer: A collaborative, propective, cross-sectional, multicentric, epidermiological study on human papilloma virus infection in African women in collaboration with African organization for research and training (Cancer AORTIC). Sponsored by GlaxoSmithkline Biologicals Belgium.  2007 till date.

    ONGOING RESEARCH SUPPORT

Capacity Development for Research into HIV-Associated Malignancies in West Africa (CADRE). A multicenter collaborative research project in conjunction with the Institute of Human Virology, Abuja and Institute of Human Virology, University of Maryland, USA. 2009 till date. Role- co-investigator.

Evaluation of renal pathology and interpretation of renal biopsy specimen from the University College Hospital Ibadan using immunoflorescence and electron microscopy. A collaborative research project with the Renal Pathology Laboratory of Vanderbilt Medical Center, Nashville Tennessee USA.  February 2010 till date. Role- Principal Investigator
